为了探讨同种异体羊膜/绒毛膜移植是否可以缩短糖尿病足溃疡愈合时间，以及，每周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植是否比两周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植更有效，来自美国巴里大学医学院的Zelen教授及其团队进行了一项研究。该研究结果在线发表在2014年02月21日的International Wound Journal 杂志上。

该研究是一项经伦理委员会批准并登记的前瞻性、随机、对比、非盲、单中心临床研究。研究纳入非感染性足部溃疡病程≥4周的糖尿病患者。受试者被随机接受每周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植或两周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植，局部湿敷，并进行加压包扎。研究的主要终点为创面平均愈合时间。

总的来说，12周研究期间，40例患者中37例（92.5%）足部溃疡完全愈合。每周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植组与两周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植组溃疡完全愈合的平均时间分别为2.4±1.8周和4.1±2.9周，两组差异有统计学意义。治疗4周后，每周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植组与两周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植组分别有90%和50%的患者达到完全愈合，差异也有统计学意义。然而，两组创面愈合所使用的移植物数量相似，每周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植组与两周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植组分别为2.3±1.8和2.4±1.5。

该研究提示，同种异体羊膜/绒毛膜移植可有效治疗糖尿病足溃疡。Zelen教授还指出与两周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植治疗相比，每周一次人脱水羊膜/绒毛膜移植治疗创面愈合更快，而创面愈合快可降低临床治疗成本，预防长期并发症。
