近日,心血管领域权威杂志Eur Heart J上发表了一篇研究文章,研究人员旨在检验一个假设,即虚弱与心血管死亡风险增加相关。

研究人员纳入了2002年至2017年期间定期接受退伍军人事务部护理的所有65岁以上的美国退伍军人。虚弱是根据31项先前验证的衰弱指数来定义的,范围从0到1。该研究的主要结局是心血管死亡率,次要分析评估了衰弱与心血管事件(心肌梗死卒中、血运重建)之间的关系。研究人员根据年龄、性别、种族、地理区域、吸烟、高脂血症、他汀类药物的使用和血压药物的使用情况进行调整后开展生存分析模型。

该研究总共分析了3068439名美国退伍军人。2002年,受试者的平均年龄为74.1±5.8岁;在2014年,为76.0±8.3岁,男性占98%,白人占87.5%。2002年,中位数(四分位距)虚弱评分为0.16(0.10-0.23)。这在2006-2014年期间,虚弱评分有所增加,并稳定在0.19(0.10-0.32)。伴有虚弱与虚弱每个阶段的心血管死亡风险增加相关。虚弱与心肌梗塞和卒中的风险增加有关,但与血运重建无关。
