JACC:外周动脉疾病患者预后的存在性别差异

外周动脉疾病(PAD)会增加主要不良心血管事件(MACE)的风险。本研究的目的旨在评估PAD患者的MACE风险的性别差异。本EUCLID临床研究纳入分析了13885名PAD患者(女性占28%),不同性别患者之间的PAD严重程度和药物治疗无明显差异。女性患者的年龄更大(p < 0.001),且糖尿病、高血压高脂血症和慢性肾脏疾病的概率更大。经过平均30个月时间的随访,女性患者的MACE风险更低
