花更多的时间活动(和更少的久坐)与健康益处相关,如改善血管健康和降低全因死亡的风险。目前还不清楚这些关联是否因久坐或进行中度-剧烈运动(MVPA)的时间是长期或短期积累而有所不同。

在近期的这项研究中,英国布里斯托尔大学MRC综合流行病学的专家使用了一种新的方法,考虑了替代因素(即更多的MVPA时间意味着更少的睡眠、轻度活动或久坐的时间),来研究久坐和MVPA的时间长度是否与全因死亡率有关。结果发表在PLOS Medicine杂志上。

研究人员使用了基于人口的英国生物库队列的79503名成年参与者的数据,该队列在2006年至2010年间招募了参与者(加速度计佩戴时的平均年龄为62.1岁[SD = 7.9],54.5%为女性;平均随访时间为5.1年[SD = 0.73])。williamhill asia 得出:(1)参与者平均每天花在活动类别上的总时间--睡眠、静坐、轻度活动和MVPA;(2)花在短(1至15分钟)、中(16至40分钟)和长(41分钟以上)的静坐时间;以及(3)非常短(1至9分钟)、短(10至15分钟)、中(16至40分钟)和长(41分钟以上)的MVPA时间。用Cox比例危害回归法来估计在一种活动或活动长度类别中多花10分钟的日平均时间,加上在另一种活动中少花10分钟,与全因死亡率的关系。

总的来说,那些花更多时间在MVPA上的人有更低的死亡风险,无论这是否取代了睡眠、久坐或轻度活动的时间,而且这些关联的程度相似(例如,每天多花10分钟MVPA,加上少花10分钟轻度活动,HR=0.96[95%CI:0.94,0.97;P<0.001])。

在基线活动类别中时间比例与全因死亡率的关系。

那些花更多时间久坐的人,如果取代轻度活动,其死亡风险更高(每多坐10分钟,每天少做10分钟轻度活动,HR=1.02[95% CI: 1.01, 1.02; P < 0.001]),如果取代MVPA,风险更高(每多坐10分钟,每天少做10分钟MVPA,HR=1.06[95% CI: 1.05, 1.08; P < 0.001])。

该研究结果表明,MVPA的影响并不因其是通过几次短的活动还是通过较少的长的活动获得而不同,这支持了最近英国和美国政策中取消了MVPA应以10分钟或以上的活动来积累的要求。

总是,该研究表面花在MVPA上的时间与较低的死亡率有关。
