Reproductive Sciences (formerly known as the Journal of Gynecologic Investigation) has an impact factor of 2.887 and is ranked #8/57 in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Reproductive Sciences, formerly the Journal of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation (JSGI), is changing its name and expanding its focus to reflect the enormous changes in reproductive sciences and related sciences during the last decades. While continuing to publish the original, peer-reviewed, research and reviews that made JSGI one of the most highly ranked and highly cited publications in obstetrics and gynecology, Reproductive Sciences also will highlight translational research in the reproductive sciences and medicine. Its aim is to fulfill the need for a publication at the interface between basic and clinical research, especially for human studies. Reproductive Sciences will have a multi-discipline perspective, including all aspects of basic reproductive biology and medicine, maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology, fertility/infertility, embryology, gynecologic/reproductive oncology, developmental biology, stem cell research, molecular/cellular biology and other related fields.
