Alongside the current dramatic scientific progress in the life and environmental sciences, similar advances are occurring in the generation, distribution and management of scientific information. Critical to these advances are innovative methods of publishing that meet today's needs of authors, readers and their organizations. TheScientificWorldJOURNAL (ISSN 1537-744X) is a new concept journal that takes full consequence of these advances.
